YSL Mascara Review

Most people who know me know that I had to undergo chemo.  By choice, I cut off all my hair to donate to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Program so that a cancer patient could get use of my hair.  I shaved my head and was bald for a long time.  When my eyebrows and eyelashes fell out, I had to start drawing on my eyebrows and wearing false lashes.  I can't tell you how time consuming these tasks are especially if I have to do them everyday.  I finished chemo in January 2015 and have yet to see my eyebrows come back or my lashes grow.  So imagine my excitement when I found out I was going to receive the YSL VoxBox from Influenster!

After using this product for several weeks I have this to say about it.
First of all I do love this mascara.  It makes my nearly non-existent lashes appear which is great!  The formula smells great, which is kinda funny cuz usually I don't find mascaras have a smell or if they do they're not very pleasant.  It's great because it ultimately gives me the look of having falsies on without actually wearing fake lashes.  It's great for volume, not so much lengthening.  The only draw back that I found is that the brush isn't great for separating lashes.  So at times I would find my lashes clumpy and I'm definitely not a fan of spider lashes.  Overall though I would have to say that this is a great product.  I would recommend this to girls looking to volumize lashes or to those that like me had to go through chemo.  Great alternative to constantly having to wear falsies on the daily.  Falsies for events and Yves Saint Laurent MASCARA VOLUME EFFET FAUX CILS for everyday wear.

I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes, but this is all my own honest opinion - the good, the bad, and the lovely!
